Step 1: Open the “Movie Creator: Video Editor” app on your device. You can do this by tapping on the app icon.
To start a new editing project, click on the “new project” option. Alternatively, you can click on the “video editor” option from the app’s home screen.
Step 2: Click on the Video Editing option and a popup will appear, allowing you to select a video from your device’s gallery. Choose any video and drag the cursor along the bar to select a start and end time. You can also use the trim option to further refine the video.
If you want to add more videos, tap on the “add video” option and click on continue to proceed.
Now, click on the Canvas button on the Video Editing screen, which will take you to a separate window with multiple options. You’ll see 14 different ratios, each designed to fulfill your social media needs.
The first ratio, 16:9, is mostly used for YouTube and Facebook posts. The next ratio, 1:1, is specifically designed for Instagram posts, including IGTV and regular posts. The 9:16 ratio is popular among young people and is used on Instagram Stories, Facebook Stories, TikTok, and other social media apps.

Other ratios are available depending on your needs and preferences, such as the ultra-wide 21:9, classic 4:3, 3:2, 3:4, 2:3, 1080×1080, 600×600, 600×315, and 1920×1200.
Step 3: Click on the “Crop” button and adjust the video by selecting the left, right, or top sides to crop it. You can easily increase or decrease the crop area using the corresponding buttons. This will allow you to crop the video in all directions easily and precisely.
To add text to your video, click on the “Text” button. This will open a menu with different font options. Choose a font that suits your style and background and would add value to your video.
