Go to the Windows App Installer and open the Photo to GIF – GIF Maker app on your device. Once opened, you will see three options: the first is “Video to GIF”, the second is “Photo to GIF”, and the third is “GIF Preview”.

Steps to Create a GIF from Photos

Step 1: Select Photos

Click on the Photo to GIF option and choose multiple images from your device to start creating your animated GIF.

Step 2: Apply Motion Themes

Browse through the available motion themes in the GIF Photo Maker. Select a theme you like and apply it to add animation effects to your GIF.

Step 3: Add Theme Effects

Click on the Theme option to explore more styles. Choose your favorite theme effect and apply it to enhance your photo GIF.

Step 4: Apply Visual Effects

Use the Effect option to add filters and visual enhancements. Select an effect that matches your style and apply it to your animation.

Step 5: Add Frames

Click on the Frame option to add borders or decorative frames to your GIF. Choose a frame that complements your design.

Step 6: Adjust GIF Speed

Click on the Speed option to control how fast your GIF plays. Adjust the animation speed to get the perfect timing.

Step 7: Add GIF from GIPHY (Optional)

To make your GIF more dynamic:

  • Click on the GIPHY option
  • Browse or search for a GIF
  • Select your desired GIF and add it to your project
  • Preview it within your animation

How to Create a GIF from Video (Video to GIF)

Step 1: Select Video

Click on the Video to GIF option and choose a video from your device.

Step 2: Trim Your Video

After selecting the video, trim it to the desired length (up to 10 seconds). Click the check icon to confirm and continue editing.

Step 3: Apply Theme Effects

Click on the Theme option and choose a style you like. Apply it to enhance your video GIF with motion effects.

Step 4: Add Filter Effects

Use the Effect option to apply filters and improve the overall look of your GIF. Select a filter that matches your style.

Step 5: Save and Share

Once your editing is complete, click on the Save button to export your video as a GIF. You can also share it directly with friends or on social media.

Access Your Saved GIFs

To view your created GIFs, click on My GIF Files. All your saved GIFs will be available there for easy access and sharing.
